Bighorn events in collaboration with the the Town of Gypsum host the Bighorn Road, a road race that captures all of the best elements of classic fondo events, with their usual adventurous twists: an 80-mile “Stone Sheep” course features 5,000 feet of climbing along the Colorado and Eagle Rivers, plus a 20-mile section of hardpacked dirt to keep things western. We worked with the media team to cover the 2025 race to its fullest extent, athletes, riders, and all the mountain race vibes.
